Accounting and Payroll Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting and Payroll Manager will oversee the strategic direction, establishment/execution of objectives, and/or people management of Payroll and Payroll accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and serving as a liaison to various stakeholders.

In Short

• Oversee biweekly payroll administration and processing.
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting of salaries and commissions.
• Perform payroll accounting close duties and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and payroll tax regulations.
• Provide information for audits and implement process improvements.
• Assist accounting teams with journal entry and account reconciliation reviews.
• Conduct presentations of technical information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience.
• Ability to analyze data and resolve problems.
• Knowledge of Accounting in Excel or Microsoft systems.
• Experience in a publicly traded company is preferred.
• Ability to interpret financials and execute business planning.
• Ability to develop and manage operational plans.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with peers and subordinates.
