Overview

The Part-Time Full-Service Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting processes, particularly in a non-profit context.

In Short

  • Part-time position (10 to 12 hours per week)
  • Responsible for managing vendor invoices and payments
  • Oversee invoicing and collection for donations and grants
  • Administer payroll including tax withholding and benefits
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  • Assist with annual audit preparation
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the board
  • Organize financial documentation for compliance
  • Work in a hybrid environment with some office presence required
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and CFO

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in non-profit sector
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience in audit preparation
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
