Production Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing product processing, ensuring quality, and managing inventory to meet production schedules while leading and developing the production team.

In Short

• Oversee and coordinate product processing.
• Monitor backorder reports and production scheduling.
• Ensure overall quality of produced items.
• Create inventory transfers and production orders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory functions.
• Communicate with product divisions regarding backorders.
• Act as backup for production equipment and warehouse tasks.
• Develop and mentor staff through training and performance management.
• Build and maintain employee morale and motivation.
• Ensure appropriate staffing with required competencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of production experience.
• Previous experience as a department lead or supervisor is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience managing people.
• Preferred experience with SAP and Catalyst.
