Overview

We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in a community pharmacy that strives to make a positive impact on our customers’ quality of life.

In Short

Remote position for a 4-month contract to cover maternity leave.
Focus on medication reconciliation review for patients in long-term care.
Complete 3-month and annual medication reviews for residents.
Must have a degree in Pharmacy and a license in Ontario.
Geriatric Pharmacy Specialty Certification or PharmD with LTC experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English; French is an asset.
Strong desire to deliver excellent patient care.
Experience in providing clinical knowledge and dispensing medication.
Collaborative approach to working with pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

Degree in Pharmacy and license in Ontario.
Geriatric Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCGP) or PharmD with 2 years LTC experience.
Excellent communication skills in English; French would be an asset.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong desire to deliver excellent patient care.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
Understanding of expanded scope of practice.
Experience in providing clinical knowledge to Nursing Homes and LTC.
Experience using Kroll, Point Click Care, and E-Mar is an asset.
