Overview

This role as a Systems Engineer II at Medtronic involves leading system integration and characterization efforts for Neuromodulation products, contributing to the development of innovative medical technologies.

In Short

  • Lead system integration and characterization for various products.
  • Contribute to developing Neuromodulation products from feasibility to market release.
  • Work within a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Perform system-level verification & validation activities.
  • Define and review requirements for implantable medical devices.
  • Participate in Risk Analysis activities.
  • Support Human Factors usability studies.
  • Manage moderately complex projects and provide guidance to team members.
  • Advocate for best practices in Systems Engineering.
  • Less than 10% travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience with system design and verification.
  • Medical device experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ISO and Quality System Regulation requirements.
  • Experience in troubleshooting firmware/software interfaces.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
