Junior Product Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Junior Product Manager at Mechanical Orchard, you'll play a key role in helping your team define, prioritize, and deliver value to customers. This role is a great opportunity to deepen your skills across product, UX, and engineering.

In Short

• Manage and prioritize the backlog in collaboration with the team.
• Understand and balance tradeoffs between customer needs, user needs, technical limitations, and security constraints.
• Maintain tight feedback loops within the project team and with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships, with alignment on priorities and progress.
• Collaborate with the product team to define a vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Help define product direction for projects that transform and modernize critical legacy systems.
• Attend agile team ceremonies such as daily standup, weekly planning, and weekly retrospectives.
• Partner with senior team members to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor's, or Master's in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Strategic thinking, technical skills, UX knowledge, attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• 1 to 4 years of Product Management experience through previous internships or co-op programs.
• Some experience contributing to the full product development lifecycle.
• Previous experience in software and web development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
