Senior Director, Engineering Execution - Remote

Overview

The Senior Director of Engineering Execution will lead the Delivery Office Team for our Commercial Products and Platforms (CPP) Organization, managing a large team of engineers and driving the execution strategy to improve overall engineering and quality excellence.

In Short

• Lead a large team (200+) of engineers located in the US, Mexico and remote.
• Create and operationalize best practices for delivery and quality execution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance metrics.

• Lead DevOps practices for CPP.
• Ensure appropriate tools and technologies are leveraged for engineering and testing.
• Recruit engineering talent to US and Mexico locations.
• Partner with senior leaders across product, segment, and market teams.
• Manage budget effectively and identify cost savings initiatives.
• Foster collaboration and clear communication for a distributed team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related major.
• Experience leading a technology transformation in large corporate environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing large (100+) engineering teams.
• 10+ years of experience working with digital customer-facing products.
• 5+ years working in an agile and product team environment.
• Project management mentality with a strong strategic and analytics approach.
• Experience with software development process and technology architecture.
• Tactical experience as a developer across multiple languages and products.
• Effective communicator fostering collaboration across teams.
• Master’s in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
