SOC Architect - Remote

Overview

MatX is seeking an experienced System-on-Chip (SoC) Architect to lead the design of next-generation AI-focused hardware solutions.

In Short

• Lead SoC architecture design based on product requirements.
• Define SoC architecture including memory and interconnects.
• Define system flows for power-up, boot, and recovery.
• Drive power, performance, and area trade-offs.
• Own architectural specifications from definition to productization.
• Industry experience in complex SoC architectures.
• Knowledge of memory systems and interconnect fabrics.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience collaborating across hardware and software teams.
• Programming skills in verilog, C/C++, and Python.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SoC architecture.
• Strong understanding of memory systems and interconnects.
• Ability to define functional and PPA requirements.
• Sound architectural judgment.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in programming/scripting languages.
