Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing - Remote

Overview

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing, will oversee the execution of sourcing category strategies within MasterBrand by implementing and managing contracts, supplier and product introductions and transitions, qualifications, and overall supply chain performance metrics for suppliers.

In Short

• Develop thorough understanding of full commodity value stream/map.
• Monitor and report supplier performance metrics to include compliance, quality, delivery and total cost.
• Facilitate new product introduction strategies.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
• Facilitate timely pricing maintenance and accuracy.
• Develop others through coaching and feedback.
• Lead best total cost improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to change management processes.
• Drive continuous total cost improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with lean concepts.
• Experience with global suppliers is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer focus.
• Ability to analyze complex situations.
• Understanding of stakeholder expectations.
• Action-oriented with a can-do attitude.
• Effective communication skills.
