Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Masabi, you will take ownership of key systems, lead cross-functional work, and help evolve the way we build for performance, reliability, and security.

In Short

• Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines for safe and frequent deployments.
• Automate manual tasks to reduce operational load.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies.
• Implement monitoring solutions for early signals during incidents.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed SRE practices.
• Mentor others in observability and infrastructure-as-code.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Work in a remote model available to candidates in Canada.

Requirements

• Experience in SRE, platform, or DevOps roles.
• Comfortable designing and operating in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD systems.
• Experience with observability and performance projects.
• Strong communication skills in distributed teams.
• Passion for mentoring and collaborative culture.
