Overview

The Risk Adjustment Revenue Manager is responsible for risk adjustment strategy and related revenue management for Security Health Plan’s Medicare, Affordable Care Act and Medicaid business.

In Short

  • Responsible for risk adjustment strategy and revenue management.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve coding accuracy.
  • Manage auditing processes with CMS and DHS.
  • Collaborate with executives and leadership teams.
  • Five years of experience in risk adjustment or related area required.
  • Three years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Certifications in professional coding required.
  • State of Wisconsin driver’s license needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferred: Post graduate degree(s).
  • Broad understanding of healthcare and health insurance.
  • Working knowledge of CMS and/or Medicaid methodologies preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare industry is essential.
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen skills.
  • Ability to manage encounter data processes.
  • Accountability for vendor contract management.
