Certified Peer/Recovery Coach App Group Moderator - Remote

Overview

A unique opportunity for recovery coaches and peers to have a voice and make a difference! Marigold Health is looking for an innovative peer/recovery coach to help people find their path to wellness and reduced substance use utilizing a new model for technology-enabled peer support.

In Short

• Engage and moderate group chats and forums within the app.
• Utilize personal experiences to support others in recovery.
• Ensure adherence to community guidelines and maintain a safe space.
• Monitor flagged content and take necessary actions.
• Welcome and support new members in the app community.
• Document member interactions in the record systems.
• Work independently while knowing when to seek help.
• Be willing to work evening and weekend hours.
• Experience in digital peer support is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant plus.

Requirements

• Certification as a Peer Specialist or Recovery Coach preferred.
• Reliable internet access in a private space.
• Comfort with smartphones, computers, and software tools.
• Ability to document engagements electronically.
• Demonstrated ability to create wellness plans.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to share personal recovery experiences.
