In Short

• Manage and optimize enterprise-level mainframe storage systems.
• Provide weekend on-call support for 24/7 availability.
• Participate in Agile methodologies.
• Administer IBM DS8950F storage arrays.
• Implement and manage Safeguarded Copy for data protection.
• Monitor tape usage and performance.
• Perform disk and tape capacity planning.
• Automate routine tasks and reporting.
• Collaborate with disaster recovery teams.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.

Requirements

• Combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or related work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DS8950F and GDPS technologies.
• Proficiency in CA mainframe tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certifications in IBM Storage or GDPS technologies preferred.
• Experience in disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with z/OS and related subsystems.
• Attention to detail and documentation discipline.
