Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Firewall - Remote

Overview

This role is responsible for designing and implementing medium-scale security systems and solutions, solving moderate to complex problems, and enhancing existing security solutions.

In Short

• Design components of security solutions with complexity and moderate risk.
• Configure and develop controls for security tools to fortify defenses.
• Execute testing of systems in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Deploy security systems ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
• Continuously monitor and tune security systems for efficiency.
• Develop automated installation and configuration processes.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and Technology teams on implementations.
• Recommend process enhancements within the Cybersecurity team.
• Engage with vendors for routine security product support.
• Maintain internal control standards and adhere to risk policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
• Proven experience with tools in the Firewall Cybersecurity function.
• Intermediate understanding of security system development and infrastructure.
• Proficient critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources.
