CAM Documentation & Control Specialist I - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for receiving and compiling loss mitigation documentation from customers and evaluating loss mitigation files for completion.

In Short

• Understand investor’s waterfall and required documents for loss mitigation.
• Ensure receipt of all required documentation including hardship letters and financial statements.
• Identify proof of income listed on financial documents.
• Request missing or additional documentation needed for loss mitigation requests.
• Communicate with the Single Point of Contact regarding follow-up document requests.
• Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls.
• Maintain internal control standards and implement audit points.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the company brand.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
• Serve as a critical control point for the loss mitigation process.

Requirements

• 2 years of higher education and/or work experience.
• General personal computing skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Collections experience preferred.
• Knowledge of M&T systems preferred.
