Business Banking Sales Associate - Remote

Overview

Responsible for outreach to existing microbusiness customers as well as prospective microbusiness clients through virtual and/or remote channels. Utilize digital resources and other technology to solicit new business; learn to manage risk and credit decisions; and service existing clients in remote geographies through the bank’s relationship management program, as required.

• Develop new virtual banking relationships with business prospects through outbound calling.
• Service existing business banking client base, as needed.
• Achieve established goals as outlined by manager.
• Collaborate with partners to maximize sales efforts to microbusiness customers.
• Identify opportunities for relationship-deepening or improved service.
• Communicate frequently and proactively with customers using various technologies.
• Evaluate credit information and requests to recommend appropriate loan structure.
• Participate in all business banking and retail sales campaigns.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient with virtual meeting platforms and related technology.
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
• Sound credit skills necessary to evaluate loan requests.
• Good understanding of Cash Management and Merchant Service products.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required.
