Associate Cybersecurity Engineer - Remote

Overview

Responsible for gathering and analyzing information for defining requirements, specifications, and designs to support the development of new or existing security solutions, solving basic problems or enhancements.

In Short

• Design specific components or modules within security systems.
• Assist in basic configuration tasks to align systems with objectives.
• Test systems and tools, sharing results with senior engineers.
• Deploy basic security configurations and document results.
• Implement system tuning and refinements to security systems.
• Automate tasks within security systems following procedures.
• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team on priorities.
• Communicate with vendors to assist in troubleshooting.
• Maintain internal control standards and implement audit points.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience.
• Basic understanding of security system development and infrastructure lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function professionally with all levels of employees.
• Basic level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
