Wall Panel Designer - Remote

Overview

The Wall Panel Designer is responsible for creating detailed designs and shop drawings for wall panel systems used in commercial, industrial, or residential projects.

• Develop accurate 2D/3D CAD drawings, models, and renderings.
• Interpret architectural and structural plans to create detailed shop drawings.
• Specify materials, dimensions, tolerances, and installation details.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and installation teams.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from various teams.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Provide technical clarification during fabrication and installation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
• Strong understanding of construction methods and architectural design.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in architectural millwork or prefab construction is preferred.
• Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of materials such as wood, aluminum, and steel.
