Senior Sustainability Data & Disclosure - Remote

Overview

As a Senior, Sustainability Data & Disclosure, you will be responsible for Macy’s, Inc.’s voluntary and mandatory sustainability reporting efforts. In this role, you will ensure our compliance with sustainability regulations, manage sustainability disclosures, and coordinate accurate data reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze sustainability data.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness through robust validation processes.
• Develop and maintain data management systems and tools for efficient data collection.
• Support in the preparation and publication of sustainability disclosures.
• Monitor environmental regulations and propose enhancements to sustainability policies.
• Stay updated on sustainability reporting frameworks and best practices.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of sustainability data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect within the team.

Requirements

• BS or BA in data analytics or related field; MBA a plus.
• 8 years of experience in reporting/data analytics; sustainability reporting experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, project, and data management skills.
• Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., CDP, ISSB/SASB/TCFD).
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills in English.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; travel may be required.
