In Short

  • Make design decisions by collaborating with product, engineering, reliability, and systems teams.
  • Translate technical architecture requirements and engineering specifications from product requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field, with over three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in developing a function or module of a consumer product.
  • Strong foundation in mechanical engineering, including solid mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and knowledge of basic engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience executing tolerance analyses and solving DFM issues with external suppliers.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with experience in failure analysis, root cause investigation, and creating DOE.
  • 3D CAD skills, basic GD&T knowledge, and experience publishing 2D drawings.
  • Experience traveling to manufacturing partners.
  • Successful product shipping experience and cross-functional collaboration.
