Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Business Line Building and Places at AECOM. This role involves the technical and design process of projects, collaborating with design teams, and ensuring adherence to budget and design requirements.

In Short

  • Lead the technical and design process from project preparation to construction.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams.
  • Liaise with internal and external consultants.
  • Provide technical guidance for bids and tenders.
  • Assist in preparing Health & Safety files and O&M manuals.
  • Monitor and report on design program.
  • Support the bid process with technical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with sustainability strategies.
  • Fluent in English and Italian required.
  • Master's Degree in Technical Engineering is necessary.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Technical Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Mechanical role.
  • Chartered Engineer status preferred.
  • Experience with Autocad, Revit, MS Office.
  • Knowledge of European and American building codes.
  • Cost estimating experience.
  • International working experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
