As a Data Warehouse Support Specialist, you will ensure the stability and smooth operation of our Production Data Warehouse environment. You’ll monitor daily processes, support critical EOD/EOM cycles, troubleshoot ETL and performance issues, and work closely with technical and business teams to resolve incidents quickly. You will also perform root-cause analysis, improve operational procedures, and maintain clear documentation to strengthen the overall support framework.

In Short

  • Monitor and support the Production Data Warehouse environment on a daily basis to ensure stability and continuity.
  • Ensure the successful execution and timely completion of EOD and EOM processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, data loads, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth operations and incident resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of support and maintenance processes.
  • Document and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and support guides.

Requirements

  • Relational Database development experience in Oracle, Sybase IQ, or MS SQL Server.
  • Experience and understanding of Data Warehouse architecture, ETL principles.
  • Very good knowledge of T-SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting production workloads under time constraints is considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with EOD/EOM business processes and their criticality in the financial environment is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation one week per month, including occasional weekend coverage.
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level.
