PNC RN Nurse Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a PNC RN Nurse Manager who is passionate about making a difference in our community. At Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) we strive for exceptional, equitable patient care that leads to healthier communities. Our PNC RN Nurse Manager will provide daily management and leadership in the operation of several centralized support teams of a large Federally Qualified Health Center, including Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Referral Specialists, administrative Support Staff and out-sourced RN Nurse Triage.

In Short

• Manage a centralized LVN team, handling calls and digital messages for patients, pharmacies, and imaging facilities related to medications, refills, and lab results.
• Manage support staff who process medical prior authorizations.
• Closely monitor all queues in an omnichannel environment (calls, patient portal, and digital communication methods), and provide real-time support for staff.
• Oversee contracted services for outsourced nurse triage; manage vendor relationship, track spend and timeliness of triage; investigate any quality concerns.
• Handle certain high-risk ‘red flag’ calls, including those related to suicidal or violent intent and possible abuse, including CPS report filing.

Requirements

• RN/BSN degree with 5+ years clinical experience, preferably in adult medicine.
• Health care operations experience with minimum of 2 years of management, directly supervising nurses.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
