Contract Writing System Specialist - Clearance Required - Remote

Overview

LMI is seeking a Contract Writing System Specialist with significant experience in DoD contracting to support a DoD customer with their deployment of a new contract writing system solutions. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance. The candidate will join the Acquisition & Sustainment team and will provide direct support to DoD clients. This position can be worked remotely.

In Short

• Provides subject matter expertise in federal acquisition and contracting in the application of training for DoD Contract Writing Systems.
• Works closely with cross-functional leads, project managers, and SMEs to ensure processes meet customer needs.
• Applies knowledge of federal acquisition regulations to develop program deliverables and acquisition strategies.
• Develops technical and functional documentation for project deliverables.
• Supports organizational change management and strategic communication plans.
• Participates in planning and implementation of DoD contract writing systems.
• Communicates technical risk and change management activities to senior leadership.
• Reviews project status with DoD customers and stakeholders.
• Supports the ITIL service model framework for the contracting community.
• Develops training content for DoD users on Contract Writing System capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 5+ years of experience in Federal government contracting.
• DAU, NCMA, or FAC certification in contracting or program management.
• Deep understanding of DoD 5000.02, FAR, and DFARS.
• Ability to develop targeted communications and training for the contracting user community.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• 5+ years of warranted contracting officer experience (desired).
