Overview

You will report to the Senior Manager of Revenue, rolling up under the Chief Accounting Officer org. As part of LivePerson's Revenue Accounting Team, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing accounting practices. We prioritize automation and agility, driving efficiency in revenue reporting through collaborative use of cutting-edge tools and technologies. While Python and advanced analytics are part of our toolkit, our focus extends beyond any single language or platform.

In Short

  • Support and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close processes for revenue.
  • Assist in the management of the Revenue team and manage relationships with operational teams.
  • Be a trusted business partner and advisor to various stakeholders.
  • Support sales transactions within the boundaries of ASC 606.
  • Identify, analyze, and apply technical guidance related to software and SaaS revenue recognition.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls for compliance.
  • Be a proactive liaison with external auditors.
  • Evaluate processes and drive system implementation and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition.
  • Experience using systems such as Salesforce, Zuora, RevPro, SAP & Oracle.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in accounting - required, CPA preferred.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
