Senior Engineer Transmission Network (M/W/D) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for reinforcement for our locations in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt (also partially remote).

In Short

• Join our expert team to elevate the transmission networks of our telecommunications customers.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for engineering, planning, deployment, and operations.
• Design networks from architecture (HLD) to detailed designs (LLD) and systems specifications.
• Conduct planning, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting activities on various transmission systems.
• Coordinate inquiries and escalations while collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders.
• Document your work steps in a structured and traceable manner.
• Develop customized solutions that redefine technological standards.
• Work with modern transmission technologies like WDM, SDH, and Ethernet.
• Engage in project management activities.
• Participate in regular training and certifications.

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a similar qualification.
• Expertise in various transmission technologies.
• Basic knowledge of transmission management systems.
• Professional experience in the transmission technology field or related telecommunications technologies.
• Experience with IP technologies, including IPv6, is a plus.
• Good command of German and English, with a willingness to travel across Germany.
