Junior Engineer Transmission Network (M/W/D) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for reinforcement for our locations in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Frankfurt (also partially remote).

In Short

• Help shape and develop transmission networks for our telecommunications customers.
• Get introduced to various activities in Engineering, Planning, Deployment, and Operations.
• Learn to perform monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting activities independently.
• Ensure adherence to planning guidelines and deadlines to support efficient project flow.
• Specialize in specific fields of transmission technology and technologies during project work.

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Computer Science, Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar qualification.
• Professional experience in the transmission field or related telecommunications technologies (fiber optics, DWDM, FTTH, FTTB) is desirable.
• Proficient in various transmission technologies (e.g., WDM, SDH, Ethernet, Next Generation ASON).
• Basic knowledge of the functionality of transmission technology management systems.
• Very good language skills in German and English and willingness to travel nationally.
