Virtual RFE Paralegal for Immigration Law Firm - Remote

Overview

The RFE Paralegal will work directly with the legal support staff and attorneys on tasks including drafting, fact-finding projects, and revisions for cases submitted to USCIS that require additional evidence.

• Full-Time: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm EST
• Pay rate: $9/hr
• Type of contract: Independent contractor
• Must have at least one year’s experience in family-based or humanitarian immigration
• Strong organizational skills required
• Experience editing coverage letters and other documents
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases or tasks simultaneously

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent experience
• Associates degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred
• At least one year’s experience as a paralegal in family-based or humanitarian immigration required
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• Computer skills (Proficient with MS Office or similar programs)
