Overview

The Hardware Certification Technical Program Manager will work within the Technical Program team of RISC-V International, focusing on guiding technical teams to deliver measurable certification requirements and processes.

• Coach RISC-V members on certification requirements creation.
• Assist teams in prioritizing operational and technical needs.
• Define and deliver clear, measurable deliverables.
• Collaborate with the RISC-V Executive Team and Board on certification roadmaps.
• Track action items from certification meetings.

• Define roles for external labs and qualification processes.
• Promote certification initiatives at conferences and events.
• Support RISC-V events, both onsite and virtual.
• Utilize tools like Jira and GitHub to support certification efforts.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in processor verification development.
• 3+ years in program management.
• Expertise in ISA and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance testing.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills.
• Experience in community decision-making environments.
• Understanding of operating systems and software development.
• Proven project management success.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
