Data Analyst (Hebrew) - Remote

Overview

Lightcast is seeking data-driven individuals with specific language expertise to help expand our global product features. This person will play a key role in ensuring we deliver high-quality data to our clients.

In Short

• Analyze and improve data quality of multilingual text classifiers.
• Work with linguistics and engineering teams to build out new parsers across languages.
• Translate various taxonomies such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations.
• Competency in reading and writing Hebrew.
• Understanding of syntax and structural analysis of languages.
• Microsoft Excel experience (including vlookups, data cleanup, and functions).
• Knowledge of query languages such as SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of rule writing using RegEx.
• Knowledge of text analysis or machine learning principles.
• Experience with data analysis using tools such as Excel or Python.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP or similar (preferred).
• Knowledge of other languages.
• High tolerance for repetitive and monotonous work.
• Ability to follow complex instructions, navigate ambiguity and work independently.
• Superb sense of urgency and time management.
• Reliable laptop and internet access.
