Senior Technology Transfer Manager – Medical Research - Remote

Overview

The Senior Technology Transfer Manager will work closely with researchers and officials to ensure effective management and commercialisation of intellectual property assets in the medical and health sectors.

• Manage a portfolio of IP and commercialisation cases.
• Attend sites in London and other locations for face-to-face support.
• Manage external legal teams for IP issues.
• Develop business cases for IP commercialisation.
• Lead negotiations with inventors and licensees.
• Facilitate training on IP and commercialisation.
• Perform due diligence on funding applications.
• Support team members with technology transfer activities.
• Line manage up to two staff members.

Requirements

• Degree in life sciences with additional business/law qualification (advantageous).
• Experience in technology transfer and commercialisation of IP.
• Experience negotiating licences and spin-out creation.
• Ability to communicate complex IP information effectively.
• Experience working with researchers and government.
