Overview

The Field Operations Manager plays a crucial role in client support and account management, directly engaging with services at customer sites while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve operations.

In Short

• Improve service delivery by observing and reporting performance.
• Provide local insights to the Operations team.
• Represent SMS in Fire/Life Safety and Environmental Health matters.
• Support in-person representation for municipal dealings and inspections.
• Assure clients of effective resolution of facilities issues.
• Enhance technology solution adoption through demonstrations.
• Build relationships with clients to understand their operational needs.
• Manage service delivery for sites without permanent client staff.
• Maintain awareness of third-party vendor work at client sites.
• Perform non-maintenance tasks as approved by the Director of Operations.

Requirements

• Knowledge of facilities management and building maintenance trades.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management or maintenance management.
