• Concept and create social-first content designed to spark remixing, sharing, and UGC
• Anticipate cultural waves, emerging trends, new formats and platform behaviours
• Translate Canva’s newest tools into culturally fluent campaign ideas
• Build mockups using Canva & Leonardo AI tools
• Monitor subcultures and creator communities
• Write short digests connecting trend signals to campaign opportunities
• Collaborate closely with team lead, designers, creators, and editors

Requirements

• No degree needed, but taste, timing, and internet fluency are essential
• 3–5 years experience in creating or directing social-first content
• Deep understanding of internet culture and AI's influence
• Experience running a viral campaign or creating popular content
• Ability to create trends rather than chase them
• Excitement about AI and creative prompting
• Ability to synthesize ideas into concise reads
