Overview

The Radar Maintenance Manager will coordinate, oversee, and carry out the Maintenance Program for LeoLabs’ global network of operational radar sites, ensuring the ongoing upkeep, reliability, and sustainability of our network.

In Short

  • Lead maintenance planning and execution to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and update documentation for maintenance processes.
  • Collaborate with the hardware team for engineering feedback.
  • Manage inventory and supply chain for maintenance materials.
  • Organize monthly site status reporting for radar sites.
  • Identify and mitigate single point failures in radar systems.
  • Mentor maintenance team for efficient operations.
  • Supervise forecasting and cost tracking for maintenance activities.
  • Travel nationally and internationally for maintenance activities.
  • Create routine maintenance plans for operational sites.

Requirements

  • B.S., M.S in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of power systems and HVAC units.
  • Experience with maintenance planning and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Driving record suitable for international car rentals.
  • Background in data centers or satellite ground stations (desirable).
  • Experience with Solidworks, CAD, or similar programs (desirable).
  • Knowledge of PDM systems and Bill of Materials (desirable).
