Senior Accounting Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards and to optimize the company’s financial performance. He/She contributes to the improvement of accounting processes, prepares detailed financial reports, and collaborates with various teams to support strategic decision-making.

• Record accounting entries, verify supporting documents, perform monthly reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Participate in optimizing the procurement process and monitor tax credits and audit activities.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the parent company and its subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with FP&A teams to integrate accounting data into financial forecasts.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Process supplier invoices and support improvements in financial processes.
• Manage credit agreements and track loans.
• Support insurance renewal requests and provide analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Help implement, integrate, and optimize accounting and financial information systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation (a strong asset).
• 5 years of accounting experience with a CPA designation.
• Strong autonomy and ability to thrive in an agile environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and rigor.
• Proven oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual, with advanced French proficiency.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
