Senior Accounting Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Lead the monthly financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide sensitive financial data to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of AP invoices from vendors, ensuring a 3 way match is done.
• Maintain strong control over the Accrued Purchase ledger.
• Prepare detailed reconciliation between Careem and vendor’s data.
• Provide assistance to vendors on queries related to AP/AR.
• Create timely AR invoices and ensure proper accounting in the system.
• Assist the business team with any finance and accounting-related activities.
• Provide financial insights and support to enhance business decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) with a specialization in Accounting.
• Professional qualification from an accounting body (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, etc.).
• Work experience of 3-5 Years.
• Past experience with a retail organization.
• Experience in managing financial reporting, AP, and AR processes.
• Strong understanding of VAT compliance and regulations in multiple markets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience in managing a team.
