Finance Director - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to take full ownership of our financial operations for Leaseweb NL. As a key member of the management team, you will ensure financial stability, compliance, and growth while driving operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Oversee all financial aspects of Leaseweb NL, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and financial regulations.
• Support line managers within business units, ensuring informed decision-making based on robust financial analysis.
• Develop and maintain KPI methodology covering financials, internal processes, customer metrics, and HR objectives.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting for optimal business decisions.
• Review monthly financial reports and provide strategic insights to the management team.
• Co-manage capital expenditure investment decisions to drive cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop financially sound proposals.
• Liaise with data center providers to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance reporting accuracy and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or similar role.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
• Proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.
• Strong grasp of financial concepts, forecasting, and risk management.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with financial controlling, reporting, and KPI management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Experience in the data center or cloud industry is a strong plus.
