Fullstack Engineer - Remote

Overview

Symbolab.com is on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services across both frontend and backend technologies.

In Short

• Design and implement both frontend and backend components of web applications.
• Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (mostly Vue.js).
• Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Java, Kotlin, Nuxt, NodeJS.
• Manage database entries for MongoDB database.
• Build and integrate third-party services and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and implement unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
• Participate in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth).
• Exposure to cloud platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
