Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Python & Cloud Engineer who thrives at the intersection of application development and infrastructure automation.

In Short

• Develop and maintain high-performance Python applications and utility scripts.
• Architect, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Manage the full lifecycle of EC2 instances and Lambda functions.
• Build internal tools to automate server patching, backups, and environment provisioning.
• Configure VPCs, Security Groups, and IAM roles for security.
• Integrate Terraform plans and Python testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical experience in Software Engineering or DevOps.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing production AWS environments.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• 5+ years of experience writing clean, object-oriented, and modular code.
• Deep experience with the Boto3 SDK.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Ability to write complex automation scripts.
• Knowledge of tools for security scanning IaC.
• Understanding of EC2, S3, and Lambda functions.
