Assistant Manager, Product Finance - Remote

Overview

Lead is a fintech building banking infrastructure for embedded financial products and services. We operate an FDIC-insured bank headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, we have offices in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and New York City, where our technical, product, design, and legal teams operate.

In Short

• Lead daily operations, including reconciliation creation and ledger entries.
• Facilitate BaaS program implementation and ongoing program management.
• Drive report development and maintain program projections.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements.
• Prepare financial statements and assist with regulatory reporting.
• Serve as a primary reviewer for daily accounting functions.
• Oversee accuracy of accounting functions performed by team members.
• Drive continuous process improvements across key accounting functions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for system applications used within the department.
• Help shape department strategic objectives and track projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in Banking as a Service (BaaS) or fintech industries is a plus.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent judgment, instincts, and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage time effectively.
• Client obsessed mentality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team orientation.
• Self-starter, proactive, and engaged.
