The Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) plays a crucial role in providing excellent patient and customer service by managing high volumes of communication and coordinating access to health care services.

  • Handles inbound and outbound calls, faxes, and communication with patients and providers.
  • Registers new patients and schedules appointments.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience in call center or patient access roles is a plus.
  • Proficient in clinical computer systems and EHR.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging interpersonal interactions.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Legible handwriting is required.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
