Director of Delivery, Shopify - Remote

Overview

Lazer is seeking an accomplished Director of Delivery, Shopify to lead the successful development and delivery of enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions for some of the world’s largest brands. In this strategic role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery function, managing Technical Architects and Product Owners while owning the delivery pipeline for Shopify-based products.

• Own the overall delivery function for Shopify projects.
• Oversee multiple project teams, including Product Owners and Technical Architects.
• Establish and maintain best practices for project delivery.
• Monitor delivery pipelines, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in delivery methodologies.
• Lead platform migrations and custom implementations.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as a strategic advisor to enterprise clients.
• Leverage your technical background to guide solution design.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project delivery, product management, or software engineering.
• Deep expertise with Shopify Plus and its ecosystem.
• Proven success delivering complex, enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles.
• Experience with ERP, OMS, CMS, and third-party solution integrations.
• Strong familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools.
• Shopify certifications or equivalent expertise preferred.
• Experience transitioning from platforms like Magento to Shopify preferred.
