American Sign Language VRI Interpreter (RID Certified) - Remote

Overview

LSA Video is seeking experienced ASL Interpreters to work remotely in a video remote interpreting (VRI) call center, providing interpretation services between ASL and spoken English.

• Remote position interpreting ASL and English via a VRI system.
• Answer inbound VRI sessions promptly.
• Assist clients with basic troubleshooting.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Maintain compliance with certification requirements.
• Flexible work schedule required for 24/7 demands.
• Experience with VRS or VRI systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of interpreting experience required.
• Weekend availability is necessary.

Requirements

• RID certification and current Pennsylvania registration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional phone manner.
• Familiarity with Windows and MS Office.
• PC troubleshooting skills are preferred.
• High school diploma minimum.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
• Positive attitude and can-do spirit.
• At least 5 years of interpreting experience.
