Overview

The System Administrator supports the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of system infrastructure used to support data migration environments and internal software platforms. This role is responsible for installing and maintaining system components, monitoring performance, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and ensuring the reliability and security of migration systems. The System Administrator works closely with technical teams to support system operations and maintain documentation in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.

  • Support configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of system infrastructure.
  • Install and maintain system components.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
  • Ensure reliability and security of migration systems.
  • Work closely with technical teams on system operations.
  • Document work according to established procedures.
  • Perform software upgrades and patching.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot system or network incidents.
  • Prepare migration servers for decommissioning.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements and support audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Awareness of security best practices.
  • Ability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts.
  • Experience with DOS/Batch scripting.
  • Understanding of server hardware and storage devices.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis.
  • Familiarity with tools like Total Commander and PostgreSQL is a plus.
