Staff Accountant (Investment Management) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant (For Pooling) to join our Corporate Finance team. This role is crucial to supporting internal financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance within a growing investment management environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate accounting, ideally within investment management or financial services, and possess a solid grasp of GAAP and internal controls.

In Short

• Prepare general ledger entries with supporting documentation
• Process accounts payable, track payments, and reconcile statements
• Prepare invoices, record receivables, and follow up on collections
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare internal financial statements and management reports
• Support preparation of audit and tax materials
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash activity tracking
• Contribute to system implementations and process improvements
• Must work from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate accounting
• Familiarity with accounting systems like NetSuite or Intacct
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy
• Self-motivated and capable of independent work
