Senior QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

Kiddom is looking for a Sr. QA Engineer who will be a strong individual contributor, bringing in strong manual testing skills and solid collaborative and communication skills. You will act as a lead for one of our functionally-focused teams, partnering with stakeholders to test for bugs in our efforts.

In Short

• Work closely with content developers to support ingestion efforts
• Work with application developers and product teams to set feature roadmap and plan release deadlines
• Partner closely with various stakeholders on content projects
• Understand and analyze user stories, requirements, or product specifications
• Provide feedback about functional issues
• Communicate and triage discovered bugs
• Test and debug pre-released software for defects
• Perform smoke testing, regression testing, verifying claimed bug fixes
• Write/Edit test cases and test plans
• Assist with load and performance testing

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in functional manual testing
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
• Experience with bug tracking software
• Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Commitment to developing quality software and supporting teammates
• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
• A strong understanding of the software test cycle process
