Senior Staff Accountant – FP&A - Remote

Overview

KDCI Outsourcing is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our client’s finance team. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights through budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

In Short

• Manage month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Post transactions and reconcile bank and credit card accounts using QuickBooks Online.
• Lead preparation of monthly financial reports including variance and trend analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business performance analysis.
• Prepare forecasts and budgets to support business development initiatives.
• Work closely with accounting and operations teams to align financial plans with business goals.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance activities as needed.
• Continuously improve FP&A tools and processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail required.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting and/or FP&A preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP.
• Strong communication skills for translating financial data into insights.
• Ability to support executive decision-making with high-impact financial insights.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
