Project Manager - On Site - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project over its entire lifespan (plan, execute, monitor and finalize) according to deadlines and approved budget.

In Short

• Manage projects primarily in the northern territories.
• Accurate estimation of civil earthworks, environmental, pipeline and/or demolition projects.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contracts, drawings and specifications.
• Meet project goals in Safety, Cost, Productivity, Schedule, Profitability and QA/QC.
• Continual cost control, management and forecasting of projects.
• Review and approve project administration and documentation.
• Communicate with clients and develop client relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and manage change management.
• Provide leadership in safety compliance.
• Mentor site supervisors in field data capture and job costing.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge of environmental work in Canada's far North.
• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of relevant Project Management experience.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office & MS Project).
• Knowledge in heavy equipment operations is an asset.
• Experience in dewatering and water treatment is a plus.
• Strong detail orientation and communication skills.
• Reliable, mature, and motivated individual.
