Medical Science Liaison - Remote

Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will work within Karius's commercial team, blending scientific expertise with commercial impact to drive the adoption of Karius tests in the Northern California region.

• Collaborate with the Clinical Sales Manager to achieve shared territory goals.
• Deliver clinical and scientific expertise in customer-facing engagements.
• Lead presentations to engage multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Identify champions and support test integration into clinical workflows.
• Partner with marketing to develop impactful messaging.
• Grow Centers of Excellence for optimal clinical use of Karius tests.
• Gather insights to shape commercial strategy and product positioning.
• Stay current on developments in infectious disease diagnostics.
• Represent Karius at conferences and professional meetings.
• Travel required up to 70%.

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical Degree (PA-C, NP, PharmD, MD/DO, PhD).
• Measurable clinical experience as a healthcare provider.
• Clinical experience in hematology/oncology or infectious disease preferred.
• Familiarity with infectious disease treatment and management.
• Understanding of microbiology/virology and diagnostic modalities.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of laboratory workflow and fiscal operations is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.
