Overview

Johnson Controls is seeking a talented Wintel Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Windows-based infrastructure solutions, including servers, applications, and related technologies.

In Short

  • Design and architect scalable and high-availability Windows-based infrastructure.
  • Develop high-level designs, detailed specifications, and architecture documentation.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers and associated services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Monitor system performance and resource utilization.
  • Implement security best practices for Windows environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide expert-level support for Wintel-related issues.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in Windows systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Windows system administration or engineering.
  • Proven experience with Windows Server operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Relevant certifications are preferred.
